Born in 1927, Mother Susan Kuruvilla hails from Thykkadavil family, Tiruvalla, Kerala. The prayerful and pious family background enriched her spiritual life, enabling to grow in the practices of Christian church. The 'little one' of the family and friends, kunjamma as he was affectionately called, had an unusual sensitiveness to sorrows.
